Wasatch Unlimited (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website wasatchunlimited.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly, when you submit our Request an Estimate form:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Project ZIP code or address
  • Project type, approximate budget, and project timing
  • Project description
  • Photos you choose to upload (optional)

We also collect information if you contact us directly by phone or email.

Information collected automatically, when you visit the Site:

  • The pages and files you request, with the date and time of each request
  • Your IP address, which indicates an approximate location
  • The browser and device type your browser reports
  • The referring address, where your browser sends one

These are ordinary web server logs. They record individual requests, so they cannot reliably tell us how long you spent on the Site or how you moved through it, and we do not present them as if they could.

Analytics (planned for launch)

We do not currently run any analytics software on the Site. Google Analytics (GA4) is planned for when the Site goes live. It has not been installed, no analytics data is being collected today, and this policy will be updated to describe exactly what it collects before it is switched on.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your estimate request and schedule a site visit
  • Communicate with you about your project
  • Improve our website and understand how visitors use it
  • Track marketing performance (e.g., which pages lead to estimate requests)
  • Protect the Site against spam and fraudulent submissions

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Cookies and Tracking

The Site does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies. If analytics is added when the site goes live, this section will be updated. You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not function as intended if you do.

Spam Protection

To reduce spam, our estimate form includes a hidden field that ordinary visitors never see and automated bots tend to fill in. Submissions that complete it are discarded. This check runs on our own server and sends nothing to a third party.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service, which has its own privacy practices:

  • Google Analytics – not yet in use. It is planned for launch, for website traffic and behavior analysis (Google’s Privacy Policy).

Photo Uploads

If you choose to upload photos of your project through our estimate form, those photos are used solely to help us understand your project and prepare an accurate estimate. We do not publish submitted project photos publicly without your separate, explicit permission.

Data Retention

We retain the information you submit for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry, complete a project if you become a client, and comply with any legal or business record-keeping obligations.

Photos and files you upload through the estimate form are stored privately and deleted from the Site automatically 30 days after we receive them.

Your Choices

You may:

  • Request to see what personal information we have on file for you
  • Request that we delete your information, where we are not otherwise required to retain it
  • Opt out of any future email or phone communication from us at any time

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
